Mobile Cross Country Challenge of Champions
Dear Coach,
I would like to take this opportunity to have your team participate in the 2010. Mobile Cross Country Challenge of Champions. This year’s meet is the 18th year and will be held Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11, 2010.The meet will take place at Mobile’s Langan Park on Zeigler Blvd. near the pavillion at Flournoy Street. The course is challenging with some rises and turns. It is spectator friendly and mostly grass. Racing flats or spikes may be worn. This meet has been featured as one the top 25 Invitationals in the country by The Harrier Magazine.
Races will be held in the following divisions:
Friday- September 10
Freshman/Middle School Girls 4:00 pm- 2 miles
Freshman/Middle School Boys 4:30 pm- 2 miles
Awards 5:00 pm
Saturday-September 11
Open Girls 4:00 pm- 5k-Unlimited Entries
Open Boys 4:30 pm- 5k- Unlimited Entries
Invitational Girls 5:00 pm- 5k- 7 Entries by Invitation Only
Invitational Boys 5:30 pm- 5k - 7 Entries by Invitation Only
Awards 6:00pm
Awards will be presented to the top ten individuals as well as the team champion and runnerup in each division. The top ten receive an award t-shirt and the top three also receive medals. The Invitational Division team champion will receive award t-shirts and medals for team members.

Meet Directions: Take I-65 to Springhill Avenue exit. Go left on Springhill Avenue (west). Springhill Avenue will end at Langan Park and become Zeigler Blvd. Follow Zeigler Blvd. to Flournoy Street take left into park. You will see the pavillion and race set up.
